Cell Phones
To eliminate disruptions by cellular phones, these devices should be turned off or turned to silent mode during all performances at the UIS Performing Arts Center.

Cameras and Recording Devices
Policies vary by event.  Please see an usher if you have questions.

Infant & Children
All patrons, regardless of age, must have a ticket for entry, including small children and infants. For infants ages two and younger who will not be using a seat of their own, an Infant Pass is available from the UIS Ticket Office or at the Coat Check. Booster seats are also available at the Coat Check. Our UIS Ticket Office staff will be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding child-appropriate performances.

UIS is a tobacco-free campus; the use of tobacco products is prohibited on all university property.

Seating Changes
If for any reason you are uncomfortable in your seat, please speak with an usher about being moved to another location. If your discomfort pertains to a patron seated near you, please go to the coat check where an usher can handle your situation discretely.

Coat Check
A complimentary Coat Check is available on Level 2 in the lobby, house left side.

Medical Assistance
UIS PAC has medical staff on site during an event. Please see an usher if you are in need of medical assistance.

Restrooms are available on all levels and are handicap accessible.

An ATM is located at the main entrance of the Public Affairs Center, Level 1.

Free Parking
UIS PAC patrons may park for free during evening and weekend events in lots A, B, C (north), D, F, G and I. During daytime events, patrons may park for free in lots A, B, or C (north).Patrons parking in other lots or parking illegally in these lots are subject to ticketing by Campus Police. See Parking and Directions for more information about valet and premium parking.

Show Call
Lobby chimes ring seven, three, and one minute before the beginning of the program and at the end of intermission; house lights blink one minute before the performance and one minute before the end of intermission. For your safety, please return to your seat before curtain.

Late Arrivals
Patrons arriving after curtain will be seated at the discretion of the House Manager.

Lost and Found
During the performance, please ask the ushers at Coat Check. The first business day following the event, please call the UIS Ticket Office at (217) 206-6160.

In most cases, all shows will run as scheduled, regardless of weather. Any exceptions will be communicated to ticketed patrons.

For most events, concessions will be available for purchase in the lobby (Level 2).  Vending machines are located on Level 1.
